Are you interested in music, art, food, healthy living and enjoy the company of large groups of people? Guthrie Green is accepting applications from individuals interested in becoming a Guthrie Green Park Ambassador. No previous park experience or knowledge of event planning is necessary. All you need is a love for Guthrie Green and our mission.
What Do Guthrie Green Park Ambassadors Do?
Park Ambassadors serve as guides for visitors to the Green, answering questions about events, assisting to enforce park rules, and help ensure visitors enjoy their experience while at the park.
Guthrie Green is a showcase of "green" technology that most park visitors are not familiar with. We want to promote knowledge of our miles of geothermal heating and cooling, solar power generators, and bio-swales.
Ambassadors help facilitate events at the park through helping with setup and take down and light park maintenance during larger events.
Training Will Be Provided
Training will be provided in a short ½ day class that will take you behind the scenes at Guthrie Green and introduce you to what you will need to know to be a successful Park Ambassador
