Fitness on the Green

Fowler Toyota of Tulsa has partnered with the YMCA OF GREATER TULSA and Guthrie Green to provide the community with FREE fitness classes.

Tai Chi 

Monday 5:30 PM - 6:30PM

Improve balance, agility, strength and coordination with this ancient form of martial arts. Originally developed for self-defense, Tai Chi has become a graceful form of exercise used to reduce tension and increase flexibility and balance. It is low impact, puts little stress on muscles and joints, making it fairly safe for all ages and fitness levels. Bring a towel, water, and wear free flowing clothing.

 

Boot Camp

Tuesday and Thursday 5:30 - 6:30 PM 

Our one hour signature class is the complete total body workout to help you get in shape or challenge your body to reach its fullest potential! This indoor boot camp style class is a high intensity mix of cardio endurance, plyometrics and agility exercises, athletic drills, kickboxing, calisthenics and strength-training. The instructors focus on encouragement rather than intimidation and design each class differently to push your limits and keep your body guessing.

 

Partner Power

Wednesday 6:00 - 7:00 AM

Challenge yourself with this athletic-bases cardio/strength training circuit workout set up in stations.  Time flies as you make your way around the circuit and walk- or crawl away with a complete full - body workout.  The fun is experienced through a fun buddy workout, but don't worry if you don't have a buddy we can handle that also.

Family Fitness

Saturday 8:00 - 9:00 AM

A high energy, family friendly class; it will get your heart pumping and body in shape. This class is focused on interval training and fluid ground work exercises designed to develop a strong core in an effort to improve posture, endurance and burn the most calories.  Using your body weight and our environment (benches, steps, hills, etc.) you will sculpt your arms, legs, backs, chest, abs, and everything in between while working on core and balance poses through the class. This class is specifically designed for all fitness levels.
