Earth Day Festival

TULSA EARTH COALITION is proud to present the annual EARTH DAY FESTIVAL
on Guthrie Green in the Tulsa Arts District in Tulsa on Sunday, April 22 from noon to 7pm.

This day will be filled with local Tulsa area musicians and expert
speakers, environmental educational booths, local food trucks, arts
vendors, kids activities, and more. Get your voices ready to sing This
is Your Land!  Bring environmental posters. Bring your unwanted
electronics (computers, cell phones, home electronics, office
equipment) for recycling.

EARTH DAY is the most widely recognized annual environmental event in
the world. Celebrated on April 22 to demonstrate support for
environmental protection, the first Earth Day took place in 1970.
Today more than 193 countries participate. The Tulsa Earth Coalition,
comprised of our city’s active environmental and sustainability
groups, will host a free day-long celebration on Guthrie Green
featuring expert speakers, educational booths, live music, fun family
& kids activities, arts vendors, local cuisine and more.

TULSA EARTH COALITION is comprised of many of Tulsa’s most active
environmental and social justice organizations: Green Country Sierra
Club, Carrie Dickerson Foundation, Tulsa Talks Climate, All Souls
Green Team, Electronic Synergy Foundation, Citizens’ Climate Lobby,
Hope Green Sanctuary Team, Transition Tulsa, TYPros Sustainability
Crew, University of Tulsa Students For Sustainability, and TU Earth
Matters. In addition to coalition members, many more earth-friendly
organizations will be participating.
